Mynx Vascular Closure Device
The extravascular Mynx device is designed with patient comfort in mind, providing a durable hemostasis without sutures or implants. Available in 5F and 6F/7F sizes, the Mynx device seals the arteriotomy using a unique conformable sealant, which dissolves within 30 days, leaving nothing behind but a healed artery.
Extravascular
The Mynx sealant is placed on the surface of the artery, not inside. Within 30 days, the sealant dissolves, leaving nothing behind but a healed artery.
Patient-Friendly
The Mynx device is deployed gently, avoiding cinching and tugging of the artery. Once deployed, the sealant rapidly absorbs blood and subcutaneous fluid and expands inside the tissue tract. Both the arterial puncture and tissue tract are sealed.
Clinically Versatile
The Mynx device is delivered through the existing procedural sheath, eliminating the need for a sheath exchange, and can be used in a wide range of challenging cases typically not closed with existing closure devices. For more details, read our Instructions For Use (see below).
