Blackstone Unity 51™ Lumbosacral Plate
The Unity 51™ Lumbosacral plating system is designed for anterior approach to the lumborsacral spine. These plates are anatomically contoured to conform to the anatomy at L5-S1. Its posterior contouring mirrors the anatomy, with a grabbing caudal lip and friction belts to steady the plate during placement. The Unity 51 Plate design further addresses patient anatomy and resists screw pullout with divergent/convergent bone screw angulation for L5-S1 fixation.
K2M Cayman™ Buttress
The Cayman™ Buttress Plate System is a low profile buttress plate system that addresses graft expulsion. It features the revolutionary tifix® Locking Technology whereby each screw head forms an autogenic lock to the plate upon insertion requiring no additional locking mechanism. With a 1.5mm leading edge and a maximum profile of 2.3mm, the buttress plate is available in 20mm, 22mm, & 24mm lengths with a width of 17mm. There are two prongs on the plate to prevent rotation in-situ when inserting the screw multidirectionally up to 45°conically . The screw can be repeated, adjusted or realigned without compromising the locking feature. Screws are available in a self-tapping design with a diameter of 6.0mm in lengths of 22mm, 26mm and 30mm length.
K2M Cayman™ Thoracolumbar Plate
The Cayman™ Thoracolumbar plating system is designed for an anterior / lateral and direct lateral approaches. Plates come pre-contoured to conform to the anatomy and feature tifix® Locking Technology which allows for multidirectional screw insertion up to 45°conically and then locks upon Insertion. Repeated screw adjustment or realignment can be made without compromising the locking feature. Plates are available from 34mm to 109mm in length and allow for two different screw diameters of 6mm & 7mm in lengths of 22mm to 60mm. The screw holes are designed to have a 10°cephalad and 15°caudal trajectory to accommodate the surgical approach. Cayman plates have a 1.5mm leading edge with a maximum profile of 4.5 mm.

The Cayman™ Anterior Lumbar plating system is comprised of two different plate designs- Lumbar and Sacral. Both plates come pre-contoured to conform to the anatomy and feature tifix® Locking Technology which allows for multidirectional screw insertion up to 45°conically and then locks upon insertion. Repeated screw adjustment or realignment can be made without compromising the locking feature. Plates are available from 34mm to 46mm in length with two different screw diameters- 6 mm in lengths of 22mm to 36mm in 2mm increments and 7mm in lengths of 24mm to 54mm in 6mm increments. The screw holes are designed to have a 10°cephalad and15°caudal trajectory to accommodate the surgical approach. The plates have a 1.5 mm leading edge with a maximum profile of 4.5mm and are designed for a direct anterior approach.
