The Serres suction liner system consists of reusable canisters and disposable liners. Together these products form a series with three sizes, the 1000 ml system is used for anaesthesia and thanks to its compact size it is well suited for installations under space constraints such as ambulances. 2000 ml is the most commonly used liner. 3000 ml is designed for applications with a need to handle large volumes of fluids
One connection only
The objective of Serres has always been safety and comfort for the patient and the hospital staff. Serres disposable suction liner requires only one connection. Being easy to connect there is no risk of misconnection. Just connect the patient tubing and the liner is ready for use. After use it is easy to disconnect and cap.
Hygiene system
A closed system is ideal for maintaining high hygienic standards. All Serres suction liners are equipped with hydrophobic filters acting as a combined bacterial filter and overflow protection, the filter closes automatically when it comes in contact with fluids. The lining of the suction bag is made of thin yet strong polyethylene film. Due to the reliable plug and strong lifting handle, disposal of the bag is very safe. Since the material is environmentally friendly it can be disposed off by hospital waste management facilities.
Practicality
Due to integrated product range the small number of product references facilitates better stock control. Therefore, the Serres suction system is very cost-effective to manage.
Robust and strong reusable suction canisters
The aesthetic design of the Serres suction bag system is enhanced by reusable canisters in transparent and blue. These canisters include reusable angle connectors. Easy to read due to their wide measuring scale. The 2000 ml and 3000 ml canisters are round-shaped. Oval-shaped canisters of 1000 ml for smaller needs and flushing canisters are also available. The robust structure and resistant material of the canister allow adequate cleaning.
