As of February 1st this year, Paul Petherbridge, a seasoned professional with 15 years of experience at LifeHealthcare (an EBOS MedTech company), has been appointed the Chief Executive Officer. This signifies a commitment to strong company leadership, and Paul will continue to be integral to the EBOS MedTech leadership team.
LifeHealthcare is entering an exciting phase, reaffirming its commitment to surgeons and patients across Australia and New Zealand. Under Paul's leadership, the company will focus on understanding and meeting the needs of our surgeons, the healthcare system, and, most importantly, patient health outcomes in both geographies.
When asked what his approach and style will be in leading the business, Paul mentioned,
'We have built strong foundations as a company, and even stronger partnerships with our suppliers; it is on this foundation that I look forward to ensuring that I champion if it's good for our customers, our people, it will be a good outcome for our business''
In reviewing this leadership goal, Paul has sought to add new voices and expertise to the already strong LifeHealthcare leadership team. The additional appointments of Rebecca Payne, Financial Controller; Brenden Grib, GM of Product Marketing; and Rachael Sechi, Senior P&C Business Partner, ensure that the business has diverse expertise, perspectives, and representation for continued growth.
Paul emphasised that,
'these leaders, all of whom have had long careers with LifeHealthcare, not only complement the wider team but also demonstrate the company's commitment to developing leadership roles from within. This approach ensures that all perspectives, especially those of our people and customers, are heard in our decision-making processes.'
LifeHealthcare will continue to ensure its depth of representation of best-in-class medical technology solutions in its core therapeutic areas, which are led by its General Managers; Rowan Sherratt, Implants; Steve Hare, Orthopaedics; Josh Thompson, Spine; Jesse Malloy, NZ; and Brian O'Connell, Capital and Corporate Accounts.
